Goal: To create a modern display of ice cream, which will show everyone that the brand follows modern trends, all with the aim of attracting new customers.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n

About the client<\/h2>\n

Following the latest trends in food production, the Swisslion company launched the Snowlion product line in 2011<\/strong>. The idea of \u200b\u200bexpanding the company’s range of products by adding ice cream to its assortment was born in Gornji Milanovac. At that time, starting production in this factory was the largest greenfield investment in Serbia.<\/p>\n

The icy treat, which no one can resist, is produced by Swisslion every day in many different shapes and sizes. There are ice creams on a stick, in a cup, in a cone, but also in family packs<\/strong>. Apart from the domestic market, these ice creams are also sold in the region, as well as in the EU.<\/p>\n

After the great success of the ice cream, Snowlion gets another range extension<\/strong>. Namely, as ice creams are part of the factory’s summer assortment, it was important to employ the production capacity during the winter as well. This is how Snowlion’s winter assortment<\/strong> was created, which consists of frozen fruits, vegetables, dough, and breaded fish products.<\/p>\n

For the currentness of the favorite cold products on the market, it is important that the brand follows the trends, both in terms of the taste of the ice cream it produces and in terms of its visual presentation<\/strong>. It is very important that the visuals are current, modern, and attractive to customers so that they choose them from the many others that are on offer.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n

The displays of ice cream<\/strong>, for different purposes, have not been refreshed for almost 15 years<\/strong>. As such visuals were no longer in line with modern design practices, and it was high time for a change.<\/p>\n

It was necessary to create displays that would be visible from different angles<\/strong>. Given that these displays will be used for different purposes – cartons with products at points of sale, billboards, TV commercials, and social networks – it was important to show the products from different angles.<\/p>\n

This is a challenge we like to face, so our design team readily took the initiative and started preparing the visuals. What results did we get? Read below.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section>\n

In accordance with the client’s brief, our designers created modern displays for Snowlion ice creams<\/strong>, which will present them in the best light to customers. Guided by aesthetic standards that are close to the client’s target group, we have created solutions that will be recognizable on the market. And how did we get these views? What was the process of creating the display for Snowlion ice cream like<\/strong>?<\/p>\n

  1. At the beginning, we received technical drawings of the ice cream<\/strong> from the client,<\/li>\n
  2. Based on them, 3D models were made in the “Blender” program<\/strong>, according to the dimensions found in the drawings,<\/li>\n
  3. The next step was the creation of the so-called “procedural textures”<\/strong>, where we programmatically set all the parameters (colors and color ratios, whether we want a matte or glossy surface, setting the transparency, amount, height, and size of the protrusions – especially important for hazelnut ice cream, surface glare and level of detail precision).<\/li>\n
  4. We chose 3D models, as the best way to create a display<\/strong>, because in this way it is easier to make any necessary changes – lighting, background, environment, etc.<\/li>\n
  5. We devoted ourselves to every detail<\/strong>, so we made certain individual elements, such as raspberries, blackberries, or colored candies, separately and then added them to the rest of the elements when making the final model.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div><\/section>\n

    Snowlion ice creams have been given a 21st-century look<\/strong> that will circulate on social networks and attract the attention of both younger and older target groups. The renderings are rendered with the utmost precision in high resolution<\/strong> and when the details are zoomed in, customers will really be able to see how much care and effort went into this task. Also, the colors and structures<\/strong> are rich and accurately evoke the richness of taste that awaits the customer after buying and consuming one of the products from the Snowlion range.<\/p>\n

    Customer impressions<\/h2>\n

    Our ice creams needed a new chapter. Snowlion ice creams look modern now<\/strong>, and we especially like 3D models that will look great on any surface. We can’t wait for summer and customer reactions. Regarding cooperation with the agency, as long-time clients, we have only words of praise for the design team that always brings something new.
